With this data protection statement, SWISSPOR would like you inform you about the type, scope and purpose of processed personal data. This data protection statement also serves to inform affected individuals/users about their rights. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) forms the basis for the protection of personal data and the processing of data.

This website contains links to other websites. SWISSPOR has no influence on the content of other websites. Accordingly, SWISSPOR accepts no liability for the content or security of such websites. The user accesses and uses such websites at his or her own risk.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

RIGHT TO INFORMATION

A person affected by the processing of personal data has the right to receive information about the data stored concerning him or her and to obtain a copy of this information free of charge and at any time. If this right to information is misused in the sense that excessive requests for information are sent to the responsible party, SWISSPOR may charge the standard local charge for the administrative costs of the duty to provide information to the affected person.

RIGHT TO CORRECTION

An affected person has the right to request the immediate correction of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her from the responsible party.

RIGHT TO DELETION (RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN)

An affected person has the right to request from the responsible party that the personal data concerning the former be immediately deleted if these data are not required for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed and if there are no legal grounds barring the deletion. If the affected person requests deletion, SWISSPOR shall verify the aforementioned legal requirements and inform the affected person in this regard.

RIGHT TO RESTRICTION OF PROCESSING

An affected person has the right to request the restriction of processing.

RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY

An affected person has the right to receive the personal data concerning him or her and provided by him or her to the responsible party in a structured, standard and machine-readable format, and he or she has the right to transfer these data to another responsible party without hindrance by the responsible party to which the personal data were provided.

RIGHT TO OBJECT

If SWISSPOR processes personal data which are based on public interest or are processed in the exercise of official authority or are required based on a legitimate interest, the affected person has the right, with regard to his or her particular situation, to object to this processing of his or her data at any time. If SWISSPOR processes personal data to conduct direct advertising, the affected person shall have the right to object to this processing of his or her data at any time. This also applies to profiling if it is associated with such direct advertising.

RIGHT TO REVOKE CONSENT

Every person affected by the collection of personal data has the right to revoke consent previously given for data processing at any time. The legality of the processing performed based on the consent up to the time of revocation shall not be affected by said revocation.

RIGHT TO COMPLAIN

If the affected person is of the opinion that the processing of his or her data violates data protection law provisions or that his or her data protection rights are otherwise violated, he or she may lodge a complaint with the regulatory authority.
